This ridiculously cute, ball of sweetness is just three months old, born May 7th, 2014. Honey was born to a litter of nine Standard Poodle puppies in a questionable situation whose mother died when they were just two weeks old. At 8 weeks old, Honey was underweight and not getting treatment for her roundworms. She was rescued by a woman who worked hard to get Honey the vet care she needed and to put some much-needed weight on Honey. She decided, however, that her home and lifestyle was not a good fit for a puppy, that Honey deserved a home with someone more knowledgable. She has been well vetted in the last few weeks, checked and rechecked. Honey is now current on her vaccination schedule and has been dewormed. She is being treated for a bladder infection. She will need another round of puppy-booster vaccinations and, though we feel she is too young to spay now, we require she be spayed before she is 11 months old (this involves the signing of a spay contract, proof of pre-pay at a local vet, and vet confirmation once spay is complete). | Despite her setbacks, Honey is a loving, easy-going, highly confident girl (seriously nothing phases her) that takes corrections well from both people and other dogs. She is still working on her housebreaking, but her accidents are few, far between, and usually due to human error. She is very comfortable traveling, being kenneled, and loves to give puppy kisses. She plays great with other dogs (this girl can rumble!) and seems to love everybody--a very social sweetheart. Though still a bit underweight, she is catching up nicely.
